The
cave of Olympi is found 8 Km southerly the middle
aged settlement Olympi of Chios. Particularly, the
cave lays at the area of "Sikia" of Olympi
between the two gulfs, Fana and Salagona.
The cave of Olympi is an underground cavern, which impresses visitors with its depth of
52 m. It lies on an altitude of approximately 110 m. above sea
levels. Among the rocks and the bushes, a small
opening of approximately 2X1 m dimensions, yawns its
natural entrance.

Due to its numerous calcite formations (stalactites and stalagmites), this cave of Chios can be ranged amongst the most remarkable and beautiful caves of Greece.
The cave formations are still in a stage of development.
The humidity of the cave is up to 95% while its constant temperature is up to 18oC. The double doors system in the entrance of the cave is aimed to keep conditions stable in it, in order for the cave ecosystem to remain
unaffected.
The visitors have access in his bigger department, accompanied from guide.
Finally, in the area of the cave there is bar available.
